In Week 16,China-Europe freight train runs smoothly. Anyway, the extension of reloading time at rail ports has led to an increase in the whole transit time. Affected by strong wind in Dostyk, waiting time for outbound trains from Alashankou rail port turns to longer. Average reloading time has extended from 3 days to 4 days and the longest exceeds 8 days. Meanwhile, Khorgos keeps it’s efficiency with 5 days in loading. What's more, it still costs nearly 10 days to leave from Erenhot, however, work efficiency here has increased by 25% compared with last week.
This week, we don’t see much update data of trains which arrival in the direction of Europe. The average transit time for trains from Chengdu to Malaszevic is 14 days, and that of Yiwu is 17 days; In the direction of Russia, trains leave via Alashankou to Selyatino, Vorsino and Bely Rast has been extended, all around 20 days, and the longest is 25 days.
In this week, other China-Europe freight train transportation platforms dropped their price as well. According to industry insiders, in May Chengdu reduced the price by 100 USD to Europe, and 200 USD to Russia; Chongqing and Wuhan remain their space rate to Europe, but reduced by $500 for Russian line.
This is the first time since the beginning of the year that the price of space has dropped sharply so widely.Delivery rate has increased accordingly.
