This week, the north route of China-Europe freight train ran well, and the efficiency of handling at borders was significantly improved. The average reloading time at Manzhouli and Erenhot is 6-7 days, which has been shortened by 30% compared to previous weeks. Due to long-time queuing, the southern route suffered slightly congestion, and the average time for reloading in Alashakou and Khorgos is close to 2 weeks.
The supply of spaces and freight rates for each route are as follows:
European route:There are sufficient spaces at various platforms for trains departing from Europe, with stable supply and demand. Trains departing from Chengdu are in tight demand, with only a small number of spaces remaining in late June. Following Xi'an, Chengdu has also opened an express train to reach Lodz, with an estimated transit time of 11 days.
In addition, there are signs of a "shortage" in the supply of returned spaces on the European route this week: due to the reduction of plans, the space for east-bound trains to Xi'an is scarce; Hefei platform plans to cut its schedule for returning service to 2 shifts/month, with spaces available until the end of June; Yiwu has also reduced its two shifts per week to one shift per week, and the booking of spaces are open until mid July. Cargo Talk reminds you that if there are any shipment plans for returning service, please pay close attention to the changes in the schedules.
Russian route: Overall supply exceeds demand, and the "involution" at market has not been alleviated. The supply for spaces for major platforms are relatively sufficient, and there are still surplus spaces in late June. It is reported that subsidies in Shaanxi will be cut in July, and it is expected that the prices of booking in the Xi'an-Russia service will drop accordingly, which may drive up spot freight rates.
Central Asia route: The Central Asian route gradually regained its vitality , and the volume of goods showed a slight upward trend. After two rounds of price reductions, the Xi'an-Central Asia service appeals . Currently, the spaces on this route remained few, and the booking price will increase by 3000 RMB after the 12th; There are few remaining spaces for Jinhua to Central Asia in June, and it is expected that there will be a significant growth in July. In addition, there are fewer schedules to Central Asia from Chengdu, Chongqing , and there is little change in spaces.
