According to China National Railway Group Corporation, from January to April this year, a total number of 5,611 China-Europe freight trains were operated, transporting 609,000 TEUs of goods, an increase of 17% and 32% year-on-year respectively, and the rate of laden containers is 100%. Among them, 1,459 trains were operated  in April alone, transporting 160,000 TEUs of goods, up 25% and 45% respectively year-on-year.

The 500 MWp/ 456.6MWac photovoltaic power plant project in Uzbekistan is located in Sherabad District, Surxondaryo, Uzbekistan, said by PIC of CMEC. It is expected to become one of the larger photovoltaic power plants in Uzbekistan and Central Asia upon completion, providing reliable electricity for about 495,000 households while reducing 445,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative and the 10th year of the "Yixinou" China-Central Asia freight train (Yiwu - Central Asian countries) route. The first train departed from Yiwu to Almaty, Kazakhstan on 13^th Apr 2013. Since then, the transport items expanded from various types of small commodities to machinery, building materials, hardware and household appliances and other products, the value of goods increased year by year.

As of the date until 31^st May, the Yixinou freight trains to Central Asia have reached 2088 trips with more than 170,000 TEUs. Yiwu's exports to Central Asian countries totaled Rmb1.71bn in the first four months of this year, according to Yiwu Customs, a subsidiary of Hangzhou Customs.
