PSA International and Kazakh Railways Kazakstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) have signed an agreement at the Kazakhstan-Singapore business forum in Astana on 22nd May to establish a joint venture KPMC Ltd.
The new joint venture will focus on promoting the development of the Central Corridor - Trans-Caspian international transportation route, and enhance connectivity and trade flows from Southeast Asia and China to Europe through Kazakhstan.
PSA International will be able to expand its rail freight market service into Central Asia areas while KTZ will reply on PSA’s strong port connections to explore new markets.
