Turkey government suddenly announced to impose 40% tariff on new electric vehicles imported from China on 3rd March, the new policy would be implemented immediately. Motor vehicles and other motor vehicles designed for passengers less than 10 persons were affected, including station wagons and racing cars (HS code: 8703.80.10.11 and 8703.80.10.19); used vehicles and hybrid vehicles were not involved so far.
