First Freight Train to Connect SEA and Europe Via China

On 2nd July, a batch of vehicle accessories was shipped from Thailand by China-Laos railways, transported to China via boarder port Mohan and was transferred to Chengdu after the customs transit formalities. The goods took on the China-Europe freight train departed on 7th July, heading to Budapest, Hungary. Before arrival, it will exit through the boarder crossing-Alashankou, passing across Kazakhstan,Belarus, Poland etc.  

 

This is the first freight train to combine China-Laos Railways and China-Europe Express, under this mode, overseas goods can be transported across the Eurasia corridor by rails, which saves about 15-20 days of transit time in comparison with traditional mode to sea-road-rail.
