First Eastbound Full-time Schedule Train Launched

The first eastbound full-time schedule train service has launched by DB Cargo, CRCT and Xian International Inland Port on 27 June, connecting Duisburg and Xi’an. The new service will deliver products between the two cities in around 11 days. Additionally, as announced by Xi’an International Inland Port, one more westbound fixed timetable service will be added to this route on Saturday, 1 July.

Before the aforementioned first Eastbound train, there was a full schedule route between Xi'an and Duisburg, which departed from Xi'an every Wednesday at 3:55 and was currently only available for westbound trains, with an average travel time of 12.3 days. Starting next month, freight operators can expect three weekly full schedule train services between Xi'an: two westbound and one eastbound.
