In Week 23,the efficiency of handling at border ports remained stablely: the average trans-loading time at Alashankou was 5-7 days, that at Khorgos and Manzhouli was 8-10 days.
The supply of spaces and freight rates for each route are as follows:
European route:The overall demand for transportation is stable, and the booking prices at some platforms changed slightly. When special trains in Chengdu have few space,public trains own sufficient space to mid-June.Trains from Xian land port operate well with a minimum of 3-4 trains per week. This week, Chongqing lowered it’ prices:Chongqing-Malasevic dropped 400 USD,Chongqing-Duisburg/Hamburg dropped 600 USD.
Russian route: The overall market volume is insufficient, and the supply of spaces exceeds demand. Zhengzhou and Xi'an in North China have frequent and stable freight schedule. Air conditioners and heaters have been approved for lower prices in Zhengzhou, and discounts can be applied for. Other general goods are discounted at 200 US dollars for more than 10 containers. The space in Hefei and Wuhan in East China are released to mid-June, and the shipments are stable. The volume of goods in South China has increased significantly, and booking price may increase.
Central Asia route: As the cargo volume increased,the Central Asian market shows signs of restoring.The space have overflowed except Chengdu.Zhengzhou’s space to Central Asian sold out immediately in June.And now there are only high-ranking second-hand space can be found. The same condition happened in Xi'an.It is expected to increase 200-300 USD.
