Daily handling capacity in Zamyn Und port will be upgraded from 14 trains to 15 trains in terms of broad gauge; while in respect of the standard gauge, it will increase from current 6 trains to 8 trains. Therefore, 3 more trains will be after implementation of the new agreement.
The news was disclosed after discussion between the railway representatives from China, Mongolia and Russia in an online meeting which was held earlier this month.
However, the policy is yet to be finalized. The final results of the trilateral discussions will be confirmed through a “Yearly Railway Shipment Volume Exchange Agreement” during the international railway meeting in early March, according to Bast, CEO of Monlogistics Transit LLC.
